The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken conduct of the investigation into the body of the adult man found inside the house fire inside a residence in the 9800 block 138^th Street, Surrey.

The cause of the man’s death has not been determined; however, it is being considered suspicious at this time. As a result, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has now taken conduct of this investigation.    

The investigation is in the early stages and IHIT is working in partnership with Surrey Police Service officers to complete priority tasks.
