Police Appeal for Public Assistance in Sexual Assault Investigation

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is appealing for assistance from the public regarding a sexual assault investigation.
On September 17, 2025, at approximately 7:15 pm, a 10-year-old female victim was in a business in the 7100 block of 138 Street. The female was approached by a male adult who grabbed her buttocks and fled the scene. SPS was contacted at approximately 8:00 pm and Frontline members attended the scene. SPS Special Investigation Section was subsequently notified and has taken conduct of the investigation.
Today SPS is releasing an image of the suspect in hopes that a member of the public may be able to identify the suspect (see attached photo). The suspect is described as male, unknown race, approximately 20-30 years old, 5’9” tall who was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, dark coloured overalls, a light-coloured hat, a light-coloured cross body bag and over-ear style headphones.
