Police Seeking Help to Identify Sex Assault Suspect

Surrey Police Service (SPS) and RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) are asking for the public’s help to identify a sexual assault suspect.
On January 16, 2026, at approximately 12:15 pm, SPOSU officers responded to a report of a sexual assault where a female victim reported that she was sexually assaulted while walking in the area of 10700 block of 146th Street, Surrey. The suspect allegedly approached the victim from behind and assaulted her. The victim was able to flee and run to safety.
The suspect is described as an Asian man, approximately 5’ 3” tall, approximately 30 years old, and wearing a unique white puffer jacket that had black shoulders/sleeves with a fur trimmed black hood, red shorts, and white Nike running shoes with black soles. The suspect was last seen walking on 146 Street.
