Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating a late-night stabbing that occurred in Surrey’s South Westminster neighbourhood.

At approximately 8:30 pm on April 17, 2025, police received reports of a stabbing inside a residence in the 9900 block of 116 Street, Surrey. Members attended the scene and located a man suffering from stab wounds and a second man suffering from blunt force trauma injuries. SPS members immediately rendered medical assistance to the injured parties. BCEHS attended the scene, treated the injured parties and transported them to area medical facilities.

SPS Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST) members are on scene and are assisting with the investigation. Integrated Forensic Identification Services (IFIS) is attending the scene to assist with the investigation. While it is too early to determine the motive of the stabbing, it does not appear at this time to be a random incident.

One party at the scene has been arrested and is currently in police custody pending further investigation.
