Two men are in custody and RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) members are investigating following a shooting late on Tuesday, March 11 that resulted in injuries to a man in South Surrey.

At approximately 11:15 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, police received reports of several shots fired in the 15100 block of 33 Avenue, Surrey. 

RCMP SPOSU members attended the scene and located one man suffering from gunshot wounds. The members immediately rendered aid and Surrey Fire Services and BCEHS attended the scene and treated the man. He was subsequently transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.

Shortly after the shooting, RCMP SPOSU Surrey Gang Enforcement Team (SGET) members located a suspect vehicle in the area. The suspects attempted to flee and subsequently were involved in a single motor vehicle collision. RCMP SPOSU SGET members arrested two men with the assistance of Integrated Police Dog Services (IPDS) in the area of the collision.

RCMP SPOSU General Investigations Unit (GIU) and Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) are on scene and assisting with the investigation.

Two males are currently being held in custody.
